Terminalia belerica, also known as Belleric myrobalan, is a species of plant in the family Combretaceae, native to various parts of South Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The use of Terminalia belerica dates back thousands of years and is widespread in various cultures and traditions.
The plant is considered one of the most important herbs in Ayurvedic medicine, a traditional Indian healing art, and has been used in medicine for over 3,000 years. The ancient texts of Ayurveda stories, such as the Charaka Samhita and the Sushruta Samhita, describe the use of Terminalia belerica as a tonic for the digestive system and to support liver function.
In traditional Chinese medicine, Bibhitaki is referred to as "Ba Yue Zha" and is used to treat ailments such as cough, asthma and chest pain.

Applications:
Depending on age, weight and health status, 1 - 2 teaspoons of Bibhitaki powder can be consumed daily
