Black copal has a long history and served the Mayans
(which Copal also called “pom”, which means “brain of heaven”) and Aztecs as an offering to the gods. Even today the indigenous peoples use it
South America's Copal to get in touch with the spirit world and to thank the gods for the gifts of Mother Earth.
Copal has also been used as a remedy for a variety of diseases such as asthma,
Diarrhea or colds used.
Copal Negro has an intense aroma and smells of musk and woody plants.
Since it liquefies when smoking, a bowl or a suitable mat is strongly recommended.The pack contains very large pieces that can be crushed as needed before use.
